The girls are pretty crafty but also love to decorate. I’d say I’m training them well!
The artist of this piece used burlap and paper heart doilies to decorate her book page. The red dots were made with a q-tip and paint.
After the painted heart dried, the artist cut a small strip of paper and used a gold pen to write “All I need is love!”
I love this Valentine’s Day display! The personal touches add heart & soul to my home.

The girls learned how to make a kaleidoscope with Leonard-the Kaleidoscope Guy. Looking through the tiny hole to see the magical views was the best part!

The small garden near the park in Sanborn was full of beautiful blooms.
The caboose was a huge hit with the girls. It was fun to be up close and personal with a train.
The strawberries from our adventure to Getting’s Garden made a great addition to our picnic lunch at the Sanborn City Park.
The Vander Haag Truck Museum looks like lots of fun from the outside. We hope to check out the inside on a future trip!
